I was a pastor for 44 years before stepping down after 30 years from my last church and am currently Pastor to Senior Adults at Washington Avenue Christian Church in Amarillo, Texas. I love the church, the Bible, and the Christian life and fill in for churches as a guest preacher.

When I stepped down from my last church I put together a book entitled “A Pastor and the People: An Inside Look through Letters.” In the book I share letters I both received as well as sent that give something of a “tour” of what it’s like to be a pastor. More Recently I published a second book entitled “Questioning Jesus.”

I have been married to the same woman (Jan) since 1974, am the proud dad of a daughter (Audrey) and a son (Rob), and the proud grandpa of two grandsons.  And even though I am not very good, I love to play golf!
